with stainless steel though it's possible he may rack it into barrel for a few months
before it's bottled. A cool and reserved nose grudgingly offers up a combination of
pronounced smoky mineral reduction, quinine and ocean breeze. The powerful,
concentrated and muscular big-bodied flavors possess a lovely sense of underlying
tension that also suffuses the crisp, very dry and beautifully long finish. This isn't
refined, indeed it's borderline rustic but then again, elegance isn't why one buys
Bougros. 92-94. Sweet spot.” Burghound
“The Bougros is made from purchased grapes. All in tank so far but will probably have a spell in barrel, to remove the minor reduction. A luminous lemon and lime colour. Actually, the reduction on the nose is minimal, though there are some interesting grenadine notes on the palate which is otherwise not too exuberant. Citrus zest infuses the back of the palate. Drink from 2028-2034. 91-94” Jasper Morris
