The castle of Monterinaldi in the commune of Radda in Chianti, is in the heart of the oldest historical area of the Chianti Classico region where the Ciampi family have been the guardians since 1961. Sangiovese of different clones, Canaiolo, Colorino, Malvasia Nera, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Gamay, Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet-Franc, Malvasia Bianca, Trebbiano, Chardonnay, vines planted at a density of 5000 vines per hectare.

Ruby red colour medium intensity, by the nose it shows a deep sensation of small black fruits with notes of wild blackberry and blueberry. It has a medium body, a pleasant softness is well balanced by the typical acidity of Sangiovese. Silky tannins are very well integrated.

Lirac, a commune of the Sourtheren Rhône Valley. Mordorée make modern styled Rhône’s which they farm bio-dynamically, combine subtle use of French oak for their top wines. The un-oaked ‘La Dame Rousse’ range deliver some of the greatest QPR wines anywhere in the vinous world.

Blend: 50% Grenache, 50% Syrah

For this appellation this is a remarkably restrained and rather elegant red with complex red-fruit, baking-spice and terra-cotta aromas. The self-confidently dry tannins build gently and keep the alcohol well in check until right at the end, when you do feel a touch of warmth. A blend of grenache and syrah.
