The soil is thin and very stony. Vinification is 18 to 22 months, in barrels for 11 months, and for the rest of the time in stainless steel vats. Bottled with little or no filtration.
Huon Hooke “Light, bright yellow hue, with a honeyed, reductive bouquet, white flowers and subtle traces of toasted nuts. The palate is intense, lean and pleasantly straightforward, ie. not too heavily worked, with good length and a very dry, lingering finish, augmented by a subtle grip. It's still a baby and could reward further ageing. Drink 2020–2030”
