These are highly sought after expressive delights in every way.
"In many civilizations, the horse is a sacred animal,
non-predatory and contributing to social and spiritual balance.
In addition, by using horses to work the soil, we are able to encourage the growth of endemic flora present in the vines and contribute to the biodiversity of our vineyard.
This makes it possible to maintain a natural ecological balance which is favourable to the growth of the vine and the production of quality grapes".

"Benoit Marguet’s family used to provide the grapes which formed the backbone of Krug’s Grande Cuvée, in fact, his family still own a single vineyard which used to be the original Clos d’Ambonnay.
Benoit’s story is that of an exemplar of the new face of Champagne. After studying at Reims University and spending time in the USA, along with the inimitable Paul Hobbs, he returned to Champagne in 2005 to take over the 8ha family domaine. His first move was not just to convert to organics, but also to make everything fully biodynamic and conduct extensive surveys on soil health."
